HD Sound

This might be a stupid question?

Is it possible for Sky to upgrade its equipment to allow us to listen to its channels in HD sound?

I only mention this as I watched my first blu ray last night that carried HD DTS and I was simply blown away!

Blu Ray itself is awesome, blu ray with HD sound is simply in another planet!!!!

Anyone got any ideas?

I think as with suggestions of 1080p rather than 1080i, it's a bandwidth issue.

And I doubt it'd just be a matter of changing the signal coming down from space - it'd probably require different hardware in the box, too, in the form of HD decoders and the like...

Andrew, although flown blown HD audio is out of the question, isn't there a possibility that sky could utilize Dolby Digital Plus, as I believe this can be done easily? A sort of half way house.
