Harman Kardon HS200 / 250

Anyone have any experience of this 2.1 system?

I can`t find any review of it by What Hi-Fi.

I can`t have any imposing speakers and the HK`s will fit nicely. It also is within my budget.

Any opinions on this system?

Just bumping this up a bit!

Surprised that there is no response on this as I thought HK was supposed to be a respected provider of Hi-Fi products?

Is there no review of this product or opinion from those that have listened to it?

I was considering an HS300 a few months ago and could find virtualy no information about this range either, beyond a single American review. Stores with one for demonstration were equaly hard to find (not one within an hours drive)

I am thus unable to comment on quality, but HK are definitely unloved by the market at the moment.

I saw in Selfridges (Oxford Street, London) today that they have a sales area in the TV/Audio dept. The HS250 was setup and sounded very good.

The sales guy was very helpful too. They have it for £699 which includes free national delivery and a 5yr warranty.

Ive seen it on sale elsewhere for between £599 and £850. I wouldn`t buy it from the store selling for £599 and I don`t believe anywhere is offering the 5yr warranty.
