Superfi have a nice little set up for newcomers to homecinema, with the following Onkyo 576 amp, Onkyo DVSP406 upscaling dvd player and Diamond 9hcp 5.1 surround speaker package all for £557.87. You could always sell the dvd player or give as present, and add the the Sony S350 for £154. Would also go great with the Ps3.
