I play films on a PS3, I play a mixture of Blu-Ray, DVD and AVI. I
tend to boost the centre channel a bit so I can make out the dialog
better. This works great where the source is surround but obviously if it
is stereo it does not. What I would want to do then is increase the
mid. Traditionally I would do this with an in line graphic equaliser but
as I am using digital to connect PS3 to amp this is no good. It there a
in line surround graphic equaliser type thing that sits between the PS3 and amp
(with optical in and out)?

If the source is stereo there won't be a dialogue channel so no point boosting the centre, it'll just be relaying a mux if in a psuedo-surround mode? I guess pro-logic will still have dialogue- will your amp not let you adjust output levels differently for different modes?
