Hi, I am curretly in the market for a pair of headphones to use with a 2nd system. I will be using them with a Marantz PM4001 Amp, Chord Crimson and Atlas Equator interconnects, PC (with on-board Gigabyte HD soundcard), XBOX 360, Sky HD and Sony BDP-S350.....for TV, Games, Films and Music. The reason for headphones is that I will be using them for the above late at night; I have owned a pair of Grado SR60s in the past but go rid of them as I had no use for them.
But, I am now looking for another pair of headphones and am stuck between the SR80is and the SR125is. Any help with this dilemma would be much appreciated. :)

Hi Choppy_Balboa. Are you are happy to pay the £55 price difference? I found the jump from the highly rated SR60s to the SR80s was significant enough to pay the extra. I have not heard the SR125is, but if you have had the SR60s in the past, I am sure you will be very pleased with either.

Hi, thank you for the quick reply. Yes, I think I am willing to pay the extra for the SR125is, I wasn't sure at first but if it is worth it then I can't see there being a problem with the extra. :)
