Just got a gotham interconnect pair to connect these

Audiolab 8000a (1990s)

Monitor Audio Bronze Br2

sounds good to me, im no expert though .. certainly not disappointed for the money I paid

They were quite popular on here until WHF reviewed them. Seems they were not so impressed...

I use a 3 meter pair of Gotham XLR cables between my pre amp and speakers.

Can't fault them. Pretty cheap too

I bought a pair of Gotham leads, way before they were reviewed by What-Hifi and came to the same conclusion. They sucked all the life out of the sound, and are no better than freebie cables.

Personally, I thnk it may be becuase, people who use them, the rest of the system isnt transparent enough to clearly highlight the differences / notice the difference.
