You see where I'm coming from then. As a manufacturer, I hae loads of products that I've developed and, to take Frank Harvey as a case in point, Spon lane if memory serves, my visits (2) were fruitless. But you have to see it from the shops side of things.
Retail premises are hellishly expensive which means square footage for product becomes competitive. The retailer has to realise a return/ square foot of display space so will be 'picky' in what is stocked. This is a fact, not a condemnation. All retailers (good one's like Frank Harvey anyway) have to do this sum. They can't afford to display non moving stock.
