Glass half empty?

Thumbing through Spotify as do . . . dipping in and out of mainly country music, came across a name never heard of before, Mickey Newbury, chancing on his album 'American Trilogy' . . . I started listening from the title track, track one, side two . . . this album continued through the rest of Horlicks hour, with Hazel saying, "can we listen to the rest tomorrow night?"

Very laid back, suiting my present 'glass half empty' moods. If you like country give Mickey Newbury a go, nice musical arangements IMHO.

Listening as I type, still floats my boat . . . *ok*

So no one listens to music, dont like country or I simply have got it wrong with my choice and likes/dislikes?

. . . there is certainly a lot of money on offer to be spent on 'upgades, throwing cash at the problems'? . . . *dash1*

Curently listening to Suzy Bogguss, not a name that I dont think is in the forefront of the country sceen, but well worth the listen, currently listening to her album 'Swing', well recorded, as others of her albums I have listened to recently, most enjoyable.

Pleasant enough CJ but I don't hear her hook . She sings Judy Collins like Judy sings Joni Mitchell songs , everything is there apart from the "phrasing and emotion" there is nothing making me belive , but music is even more personal than speakers <S>
