Has anyone heard any of these? I’ve just read a couple of reviews of the G3 and watched a Steve Gutenberg YouTube review and they’ve caught my attention.
They’re interesting for a number of reasons but primarily because Genelec have been making great studio actives for years and these are their first models to be targeted more for domestic consumption. The G3 is a class D driven all analogue model but the four and five are AB driven. They all appear to have incredibly flat response curves, are built out of aluminium, and I’m drawn to a ‘raw’ finish they offer. Most important of all is that they are supposed to sound great (open, detailed, tonally accurate and non fatiguing).
