Freesat - two coax cables?

Hi

I'm told by a Freesat installer that if I want to use something like the Humax FS PVR and record two channels / record one and watch another etc then two coax cables need to run from the dish to the box...

Doesn't sound right to me - can anyone clarify?

The installer is correct. You have to have an LNB in the dish for each channel and they have to be seperately connected to the PVR. I don't think it makes a huge differance to the cost and is well worth having.

Indeed, and should you have both a Freesat TV and a Freesat PVR, you're going to need three!
