Floorstander Speaker Spikes???

hey all

My RS8's are now installed in a room with a tiled floor, should I still be using the spikes or turn them around to the "bullets"?

Marble and granite is very cheap over here (saudi) would I see any benefit (apart from looking cool) by having marble plinths made for them?

Well, given the above, I'd have marble plinths made with recesses ground out in which the spikes will sit...

Having not test drilled the floor and only going by inspection of other villas under construction I would hazard a guess at concrete!

If it's concrete the marble isn't going to add an awful lot as you've already got as solid a base as you could hope for.

It will look nice though!
