Hi,

I am looking for a good value HDMI cable of around 3m. I have a couple I got from Amazon from their Basics range which are very good, but the braiding makes the bables very stiff and I think this puts too much pressure on the connectors on my equipmet - particularly when moving it.

So I am liiking for something more flexible.

I dont want to spend a fortune (less than £20).

Any recommendations?

Regards,

Brian

Thanks for replying.

I looked at these. However, they art still rigid connectors. My problem is the lack of cable flex which means when the cable I'd moved, it puts unnecessary strain on the connectors and hence risks damaging the sockets.

Hence, my need is really for a flexible cable.

I would have a look at Amazon and any cable that is thin and has no fancy braiding, such as

http://www.amazon.co.uk/iBox-Connectors-BLU-RAY-Philips-HMP2000/dp/B001U1II34/ref=sr_1_5?s=computers&ie=UTF8&qid=1336411385&sr=1-5

Try the QED Profile hdmi cable for £25.97 from: www.audiovisualonline.co.uk or for around £40.00 try the Audioquest Pearl. Both cables are thin and flexible although I would think the Audioquest will be slightly springy due to its solid-core construction.
