flash video on cellphone

But if you need Flash, probably a Windows Mobile handset would be a good choice, if a less user freindly one.

don`t know wether the new sony xperia coming out next month will support video based content if so would be ideal phones

its a 3 star phone, kickstand used to angle the screen for video viewing, which is flimsy and lacks balance which "stuff" reviews claim

You didn't ask for a review, you asked which phones support flash video, I told you.

Besides, the phone runs linux, I wouldn't expect Stuff to have the faintest idea what to do with it. Apologies to the WHF staff but I gave up reading Stuff when they started reviewing more football boots than technology.

There's plenty of good reviews of the N900 online, don't rely on one to make your mind up for you.

Besides I've never understood the idea of the kickstand, by the time you prop a phone up on a table it'll be so far away from you won't be able to see what's playing on the screen anyway.

I think you need to ask yourself exactly what content you want to access. As we have concluded, the iPhone doesnt support Flash but can still support YouTube and BBC iPlayer through other means. Plus there are the Sky apps which enable more content. So what else do you need??

Alright, don't start!

I've seen several reviews say that the N900 is the phone the N97 should have been. The N97 didn't get a great reception.

The only issue that I can see with the N900 is that not being a Symbian phone you can't get stuff from the Ovi store for it (there's a separate Maemo store but that appears to be mainly "amateur" developers.

JohnDuncan:the_lhc:The Nokia N900's browser is supposed to be very good, given that it's almost a full version of Firefox...And in fact, you can win one here...

A Stuff competition? You evil swine, after what I said!

And it's one of those "Explain why you want a..." type competitions. "Cos they're chuffing brilliant!" probably isn't going to make the grade...
