Cue Hovis commercial music and sepia images....

Dad's old Goodmans Module 90 receiver, Technics SL-BD22 turntable (18th birthday present) and a pair of really awful Goodmans speakers from Comet that had little red LEDs to show when the speakers were clipping - like you couldn't tell.

Got me through University until 1986 whena geezer in a record shop in Egham convinced me to buy Suzanne Vega's first album on CD rather than vinyl and life started to get expensive.
