fault on 63 KIS

I don't know if anyone else has had this problem. I have a Marantz 63 KIS that makes a clicking

sound between tracks or when I change track with the remote. It's nothing really, like a click on a

record but irritating nonetheless. Do you know what the likely cause is, is it fixable ?

I have found the exact same phenomenon in the same model I purchased second-hand as a (very good value) back-up to my existing KI Sig. It's clicking just enough to be slightly irritating and I have tried it in different rooms and different hi-fi configurations. Having just done an extensive search on t'interweb, I cannot find any reference to this elsewhere. Since it cost less than £100 I doubt it would be worth getting it serviced. However, it would be interesting to hear any opinions as to what might cause the 'problem' or, indeed, what might cure it.

C'mon, there must be some electronic whizz-kids out there who can shed some light on this?

And, yes, that aside, it is a lovely sounding CD Player.
