Ecosse baton interconnect

Does anyone know what the sonic characteristics of this interconnect are? I am able to get a second hand one for £25. I think it is the original one rather than the mark II. Will it offer noticable improvement from a Chord Crimson?

I reckon you keep hold of your Crimson. The Baton's a sideways move at best - unless your system is troubled by an overly energetic sound or a bright-ish top end. I shouldn't imagine it is, though.
