DVD Video/Pioneer bp

Excusing my newbie ignorance but could someone explain just what this format means ? have been looking at pioneer blu ray players in the November issue of WHF and noticed a few of their players can't play this format, but what is it. The breakdown of bdplx52 also states it has multichannel analogue outs but on closer inspection this doesn't seem correct. Please advise, Cheers.

No idea about the first point but as to the multi-channel outs, make sure you're looking at the correct website for Pioneer, the LX52 has multi-channel outs EVERYWHERE (maybe) except the UK, where they took them out to make us buy the more expensive players. Same with the BDP-320, that's got multi-channel outs as well, in the US at the very least.
