DVD lens cleaners - any good?

Are lens cleaning CDs any good? Do they make an appreciable difference to sound/picture quality? Any thoughts? Cheers

Not really, IME. I'd only bother if you smoke, or the player suffers from skipping/freezing problems (which they're by no means guaranteed to solve). Better by far to make sure your discs are clean...
