Downloading a US Digital copy

Finally got round to installing my digital copy of Coraline. I bought the US version of the blu-Ray as t was region free, now I've finally got round to putting the dig copy onto my pc, the redemption code is for iTunes customers in the US or Canada and so I'm unable to continue. Is there an easy way around this so I can add it to my iTunes. Or am I going to be unlucky ?

Have the same thing with my US copy of Watchmen - think the only solution is to get yourself a US iTunes account but I'm not sure if there's an easy way of doing this (unless you know someone in the US).

It's very easy to get a US Itunes account, you don't need to have a US registered credit card. A quick google and you should be able to find a how to guide - if memory serves there are some on YouTube.
