doh! how do I get my gear registered

I can usually do this stuff but how do I get my system registered at the bottom of all my posts.

OOPS! I think ive solved it. You can see I put "test" in the signature box in my settings. This did not appear in any previous posts but did on this post. So am I correct that it only appears on posts after you have typed in the signature box and is not backward compatible to previous posts

As you can now see, it seems to retrospectively populate your signature.
