Django unchained pre-order £10 + £5 off when pre-ordering 2 blu rays

There's no limit on the £5 offer. Just order them separately. I got £5 off for Django unchained + Life of Pi. I then separately ordered Hobbit & Zero Dark Thirty, & got another £5 off.

Looks like they've either run out of stock of Django unchained, or it was a misprice. Can't see the blu ray anymore on the site. The DVD is £12.75! :)

£5 discount offer is still on though.

Wow, that took two whole months to arrive!

For anyone who is considering buying it, AVForums have reviewed Django Unchained yesterday here http://www.avforums.com/movies/Django-Unchained-review_11232/blu-ray.html. They like it!

I take their movie reviews with a pinch of salt, having been stung once with a blind purchase based on this review  :

Mine arrived this morning too from Tesco Direct - just waiting for Zero Dark Thirty to complete the order- another one of your great bargains BB. And I have to say, I couldn't agree with you more about Drive - a really dreadful 'film', but luckily only cost me a fiver from Zavvi.

Well, it just goes to show that there's nothing like personal taste! I bought my copy of Drive blind too, based on a good review in Home Cinema Choice magazine. (In fact I have bought at least three-quarters of my currently 108 Blu-Rays and DVDs blind, without having previously seen the film on TV or at the cinema.) However, unlike you two, I really like Drive, and I was playing it at -15dB in the kitchen only last night! I like it for many reasons, one being my sympathy with four out of the six main characters, a second being that Carey Mulligan's character is one of my three most endearing lead female characters ever (the other two being Gwyneth Paltrow in the first Iron Man and Margaret Lockwood in Hitchcock's 1936 hit The Lady Vanishes), a third being some really, really low notes from the SVS PC12-Plus subwoofer, now in the kitchen. But hey, if other people don't like it, that's fine! One film which I did buy blind and really didn't like was District 9, and if I could sell it for a couple of quid, I would.

I watched Django last night for the first time and was expecting it to be a great film, unfortunately, as usual, it was overhyped IMO. It started off well but seem to turn boring and mundane in the middle and end, right about the same time Leonardo showed up. His poor acting skills seemed to just suck the life out of the film, what a shame.

Hmm, fancy that, eggontoast, an over-hyped film, but I guess that could be said of so many films - Drive (that I've just been defending), Prometheus, the Dark Knight rises, Skyfall ..... It would be interesting to hear from anyone else who has bought the Blu-Ray of Django Unchained blind. I didn't see it at the cinemas, and I was considering getting it when the price falls below a tenner, but if it's not as good as I thought ...... I don't want to buy another one that it turns out I don't like, like District 9, though in fairness that happens rarely, most of my discs are bought blind and I like nearly all of them.

How do you get the money off, put Django and Hobbit in the basket and it comes up as £35.00, what then?
