I take their movie reviews with a pinch of salt, having been stung once with a blind purchase based on this review  :Son_of_SJ said:Wow, that took two whole months to arrive!
For anyone who is considering buying it, AVForums have reviewed Django Unchained yesterday here http://www.avforums.com/movies/Django-Unchained-review_11232/blu-ray.html. They like it!
Mine arrived this morning too from Tesco Direct - just waiting for Zero Dark Thirty to complete the order- another one of your great bargains BB. And I have to say, I couldn't agree with you more about Drive - a really dreadful 'film', but luckily only cost me a fiver from Zavvi.bigboss said:I take their movie reviews with a pinch of salt, having been stung once with a blind purchase based on this review  : http://www.avforums.com/movies/Drive-review_10811/blu-ray.htmlSon_of_SJ said:Wow, that took two whole months to arrive!

Well, it just goes to show that there's nothing like personal taste! I bought my copy of Drive blind too, based on a good review in Home Cinema Choice magazine. (In fact I have bought at least three-quarters of my currently 108 Blu-Rays and DVDs blind, without having previously seen the film on TV or at the cinema.) However, unlike you two, I really like Drive, and I was playing it at -15dB in the kitchen only last night! I like it for many reasons, one being my sympathy with four out of the six main characters, a second being that Carey Mulligan's character is one of my three most endearing lead female characters ever (the other two being Gwyneth Paltrow in the first Iron Man and Margaret Lockwood in Hitchcock's 1936 hit The Lady Vanishes), a third being some really, really low notes from the SVS PC12-Plus subwoofer, now in the kitchen. But hey, if other people don't like it, that's fine! One film which I did buy blind and really didn't like was District 9, and if I could sell it for a couple of quid, I would.robjcooper said:Mine arrived this morning too from Tesco Direct - just waiting for Zero Dark Thirty to complete the order- another one of your great bargains BB. Too late. The offer was in March.festing11 said:How do you get the money off, put Django and Hobbit in the basket and it comes up as £35.00, what then?
