Advice please on what size sky dish and best LNB I should install , I live in north wales and the weather can get quite shocking. The best cable as well please.

A properly aligned zone1 (45cm) eliptical 'mini-dish' is adequate for your part of the world, though i'd go for a zone2 (60cm) as it will give you a greater 'rain fade' margin and just use the standard LNB supplied with the dish.
Don't be tempted by, very low noise/high quality LNBs that are available like the Smart Titaniums etc, they're meant for use on standard rounde(er) dishes not eliptical dishes so won't give optimum performance when used on an eliptical dish.
As for cable, use Webro WF100 or similar, unless it's a very long run (50m +) in which case use the thicker WF125.
