diffrent subwoofer for the yamaha ysp 2200 soundbar

is it possible to connect a better quality subwoofer to the yamaha ysp 2200 soundbar.

Yes but only if you use the soundbar in conjunction with an AV receiver which sort of defeats the object of having the soundbar in the first place
