Basically i know very little about televisions but trying to gain a good insight into various types before i purchase. Ideally want a 37 inch and not much bigger. would prefer to pay more for the quality of the picture not the size. budget is around £500 - £600. getting a little bogged down with all the various reviews and types of television.
The aspect that i want the set to excel in is a very good quality picture. Doing a little research i have come to the conclusion that a plasma will be the way forward for me.
For my price range the Panasonic TH-37PX80B looked like a pretty good decision as it has won awards etc and seemed to tick the boxes for me. I am aware that the sound is not the best but i am willing to fork out a little more to enhance the sound.
I kno that this model is from 2007 so quite dated now. would i be better off going for the 2008/9 model of this set?? think they would probably come in at a similar price. Is there something massive i'm missing?? Why are LCD's more popular than plasma's?
