I already own an old Denon amp (250SE) and enjoy the Denon sound. I was wondering if anyone has compared the 520AE from the 720AE? I've not seen a review for the 520AE yet. I was thinking of a Denon amp to go in the bedroom to pair with some Dali Lektor 2 speakers. I would be playing at low volumes so the power ouput is not so important. Just wondering if the sound signiture and general overall balance is the same for the 520AE.

Thanks. Happy bank holiday.

Thanks ear, good to know the PMA 520AE can run more powerful speakers. On paper its more powerful than my Pioneer and my older Denon. I'm still interested to hear anyone elses views who may have bought or heard the Denon PMA 520AE (it looks quite a bargain). What do you think?

I have heard the bigger brother denon pma720 and it sounds very good, its going for £179 in richers at the moment which is a steal, i dont think there is anything to beat that for value v sound qaulity at the moment unless you go used, its a lively sounding amp, but yets its not over bright or harsh, very clean sounding with a bass that can punch if needed
