I think this may find a niche where one doesn't currently exist, as an affordable pre-processor.
The addition of dirax and 4 sub outputs, mean adding a power-amp or 2could well be a much cheaper option that what currently exists for those wanting to move to separates.
Its always frustrated me that the cheapest pre-processor is about £2500.

You could start with this device on its own.
Then you could contemplate a 3 ch power amp for front 3 speakers and use the on-board amps for the surrounds and atmos, until funds permit otherwise.

I think this could be a very good and welcome move.

Unfortunately, with the price for Dirac 4 sub control and required microphone you add another 750 pounds!!!! So, it's not a cheap pre-processor! Cant find a reason to upgrade someone from 3700 witch costs half price!

Doesn't Pure Direct disable all audyssey corrections including Multieq? Doesn't really make sense to say that you've used Multieq to calibrate and then use Pure Direct..
