i store all my songs in my harddisk of my MBP, say user/document/mp3 so i import all these mp3 to itunes.. and i realised that it makes another version within user/music/itune library. so what i wanna find out is that is it safe to delete the ones at user/document/mp3? coz i have limited storage of 250GB, and i check itune library folder is larger than my original mp3.. maybe it includes video.. so guys is it safe to remove those original ones as i m switching to lossless... thanks

oh.. and also. lets say i get another iMac, and i want to copy all my songs from my MBP, do i copy the whole itune library folder? would it cause any problem like user account being different?

Yes you can delete them, and no there won't be any problems provided they're just rips with no DRM on them. Downloaded (paid for) tracks with DRM may cause problems when copying between computers, however...
