Dedicated Home Cinema Room

Can anyone direct me to any good sites on requirements (size, wall materials etc) for a dedicated home cinema? I own some land which I've just found out I may get planning on for a house, so obviously the first thing that needs sorted is the home cinema. Is it the same gear you would use in a living room or are there specialised products for this?

There are various home cinema diy sites around that should be able to help showing step by step builds with photographs and tips and pics of the final results. Link You can make your h/c as basic or advanced as you like but obviously there are various considerations e.g. sound proofing, acoustics, speaker placement, cabling etc. It really depends on how far you want to go and how deep your wallets are. I don't have a dedicated h/c but have a projector setup for movie watching which blew me away.
