Hi,

So pretty much as the title says, my mid-'90s vintage turntable has given up, can't fix it and can't get anyone else to either, so need to replace it to keep my vinyl alive (and the kids amused). Bit out of touch with turntable developments, so looking for some advice please!

It'll be playing through a Marantz PM6004 and Tannoy Mercury V4's, which currently play either CDs thru a CD6004 or digital sources through a NA7004. What would £200-£300 get me? Or do I need a larger budget?

Thanks,

JU

depending what is wrong, I would have thought it could be fixed. Even if the motor is shot, a replacement 24 volt motor is avaiable for about £130. Ask you local rega dealer.
