I just read the review. I got the impression that these are almost better than Dali's own Lektor range.

Anyone heard these ?

Hi,much

I've heard lektor 1 but i didn't think they offered more bang for the buck (as much bang it can be...) I'm also interested in the Dali stile but would like to compare them to PSB Alpha 1.

Any comments? have any heard these.

Edit: forgot...of course I have heard zensor 1 and they where great. at first glance they where a bit thn, but then I listen to Concept 1 and the Lektor 1 and the back again. and they where good for the size and price. when we added a sub they really got to live and didn't needed to drive the base that deep.

I just got them and they sound really good for their prize and size. Much better, and more fullbodied than the old Concept 1.

I use the Zensor 1 with a NAD C326 amp. The bass could be more present but for the rest these are incredible. Very detailed and with a nice musical sound.

I'm a big fan of the Monitor Audio BX2 speakers.........but these are even better IMO.

Hi

I compared Zensor 1 to Lektor 2 when I bought my Sonos Zoneplayer 120 lately. The zensors are extremely detailed, and I love the tweeters. They are however a bit thin on the bass. Initially I thought I would buy the Lektor 2's, but after bringing them home I couldn't ignore the lack of detail at low volume. If you play them at medium to high volume, they are cracking speakers, also compared to the Zensor 1's (IMHO). But the lack of detail at low volumes (like around dinner time), meant that I ended up buying a pair og Ikon 1 MkII.

Coming back to the Zensor 1 speakers, I would say, that if your budget is at their price, there's nothing to think about, just buy them. They are a catch at the price :) .

Note that all my experience with the three speakers mentioned are on a Sonos ZP120 playing apple lossless

/Cheers

The Ikons are like taking a pair of Zensors out of a box. The sound stage i open and detailed. The bass is nice and controlled. Using them with the Sonos they are a pleasent listen at low to high volume. But where I live they are almost three times the price of the Zensors ;)

They lack alot of lower midrange and bass http://www.stereophile.com/content/dali-zensor-1-loudspeaker-measurements#op4ic1G3uGjIq0vZ.97

I tried them with a subwoofer and what is the point of using them with a subwoofer even when croosover could go as high as 200hz, it wouldn't make a diffrence since lower midrange, bass is lacking and that makes the speaker sound even more thin, bright (couldn't move them closer to a wall). Dali zensor3 is a completely different story

I some reviews the bass could be like this (zensor 3)

And other reviews http://www.dali-speakers.com/media/3014/dali_zensor3_audio_9-2013.pdf

Generally better lower midrange and bass frequency response from dali zensor 3
