Cyrus DAC XP+ - loud pop when changing inputs

Hope someone can help - just swapped my Cyrus PreXpdQx for a Cyrus DAC XP+ (Repro), sound is fabulous, but I get a loud pop in the right speaker when I change Input selector on the DAC XP+.

Everything seems to be wired ok. Any ideas?

I assumed not

I can't see that anything is shorting out, as all the connections are same as with the previous prexpdqx. So am thinking it must be something inside the black box.

This is my second XP+ in a week - first one did not have up-to-date firmware (no AV Direct pass through), and this one looks like it is going to damage my speakers (and ears). Getting fed up sending back cyrus kit to dealers. Kind of takes the fun out of hifi |(

We've never really seen any DACxp's come back. I can recall one that lost its digital inputs for some reason, but that's about it.
