Cyrus CD remote control

In the CD Player section of the WHF Awards 2008 magazine, all the Cyrus remotes are shown having Bass And Treble buttons, now this may be a daft question but are they for altering the Bass and Treble output from the CD players or is it an all in one remote that can to control other Cyrus gear.

The remote can control all Cyrus gear - i.e. the AV Master
