Cyrus amp dilemma

System currently consists of Cyrus Pre Xpd QX, 2 x Cyrus X powers running in Mono, both have a PSXR. Use rega RS 3 speakers.

Looking to cut down on box numbers and looking at a pair of Mono x 200's, which wont need the PSXR's.

Certainly happy with the sound I get now, will I hear a difference in swapping the 2 x power/PSXR for the Mono x 200's ???

Yes Mono X200 are more detailed, more bass extension and allround better amps.

Ah if only I could afford it I would.

If you get you x powers upgraded its only £700 more per amp to get to the 300's then your will have one of the finest amps available. I had a demo of the old 300's , pre signature, and thought they were fantastic.
