Cyrus 8xpdQx fault

hi, I've got a problem with my cyrus amp. It's a 6 mth old 8xdqx. Its stopped working and theres an error message showing saying 'PSU fault'. Has anyone got an idea what this means and what I need to do to sort it (without sending back to Cyrus)? I've tried switching it off but its not resolved it. thanks Adam

PSU is the Power Supply Unit. If the remedy is not mentioned in the troubleshooting guide I would return the unit if I were you; not something to be messing with at home.

Assuming there is nothing in the Troubleshooting part of the manual about this error then I'd say contact the dealer you purchased the unit from. Doesn't sound like the sort of thing thats going to fix itself - and be aware that popping the case off to have a look inside will invalidate your warranty.

thanks for the advice, I'll send it back to cyrus as I bought it direct.
