I am looking for an upgrade of my current Cyrus 6XP amplifier. The new amp will be used with the KEF LS50, should the about the same size of a Cyrus component and should include a usb digital in.

So for the moment i see the Cyrus 8DAC and Leema Acoustics Integrated as possible upgrades. I like the Cyrus sound but the Cyrus usb digital in is not asynchronous, so probably not as good as the one in the Leema amp. What amp would be the best solution for the LS50?

Either will work well, but I have to say that the Leema Elements was working extremely well in a demo I was doing on Saturday. Plus, the power amp will be coming soon too.

I'm sure Cyrus will change to asynchronous USB inputs at some point in the future, so you'll be able to upgrade at some stage. If you want the possibility of upgrading further and sticking to small boxes, the Cyrus will be a better bet longer term.
