CXN playback issues for 192khz FLAC files

hi, whenever i play 192khz files, the cxn breaks and stutters at the beginning of the track, or when i skip track. occasionally i hear a loud distortion sound, which is unacceptable. once it is playing it is ok. i am using synology ds214play and running an ethernet connection. 96khz and below files have no issue. anybody have this issue? i asked ca support and they cannot figure this out.

Is your synology on a wired connection or wireless?

synology is on wired connection. also to add, i'm running minimserver on the synology.
