CXN below its starting price for the first time!

It's always a case of when rather than if, but this one's made us wait longer than most for the first drop.

Not a bad start though with 100 quid off. (I'd have guessed at a £20 - £50 starting discount)

I realise that there will be many saying it needs at least another £100 off, but is anyone jumping in now?

Note the date rogg, that post was done on Boxing Day 2016.

Between then and now though, it once actually had a £200 discount in a brief 'flash sale'.

Today's price is £799, but you should be watching closely as 'Black Friday' approaches.

Having said that, other potential purchasers have commented that even £599 is still too much for what it is.

To put it in perspective, the Best Buy Pioneer N50A was £349 at one time, so at £800 the CXN's colour screen and dial, nice though they are, come at a price.

I'd consider throwing 400 quid at one, meantime a Raspberry Pi3 with a decent little DAC is doing quite a nice job for me, thanks very much.
