Hello,
Having read the Awards 2009 issue I am considering getting the Philips 32PFL7404 and adding the Panasonic SC-BT200. I know that separates give better performance overall but as all I want is to watch DVDs/Blu-ray and Sky this is ample for me.
My concern is that as I have an old Panasonic Sky digibox, not even Sky+, which just has the 2 left/right stereo audio outs will I be able to connect it to the Blu-ray to use the speakers via a conversion cable? Alternatively, would it be possible to put the sound through the TV's audio out to the Blu-ray's audio in? Sorry if these are naive questions but I don't know much about these things
Currently I connect it to the TV via scart and as my CRT TV has 5.1. built in it quite happily decodes it to pro-logic.
Thanks in advance
