CONNECTING PV1 POWER TO PIONEER SCLX83

Basic question - how do I connect the 2 pin power connector from my B&W PV1 sub to the Pioneer SCLX83? I've read through the manual and can't see where on the back of the amp this should connect?

You need to plug that into the main wall socket using an adapter for 3 pin. I have the same AV and Sub as you 😉

Indeed: some amps – but not the Pioneer – have one or two switched mains outputs, but really these are only suitable for powering source components such as DVD/BD players. The sub should be connected directly to a wall-socket.

great, thanks both. found a appropraite power lead already fitted with a 3 pin so good to go!!
