Connecting DAC from integrated to analog amp?

Is it possible to use the DAC in my Nuprime IDA-8, with my Audiolab 8300A amp, without using the amplifier parts of the Nuprime?

The IDA 8 has stereo pre amp outs, just connect it to one of the line level input.

Set the IDA 8 volume to zero, then set the 8300A volume control to it's normal setting, with music playing increase the level on the IDA 8 to give you normal volume. Leave the IDA 8 at that level permenantly and adjust everything on the 8300A as normal.

Not familiar with the new amplifier, just treat it as a regular input and set up the amp as normal.
