clouding the issue

I have recently taken purchase of a new tv,well done me.

I have turned it on and no more just to see if its working,

on a pitch black screen there was nothing at all that resembled clouding or dead pixels or light bleed for that matter

does that mean i am out of the woods and have been lucky or should i hold my breath until i have properly set up the tv and watched a blu ray on it?

just to point out the tv that i received was a shock horror sony kdl40w4500!!!
