Hi all,

when i change channels i am getting a clicking sound from my speakers? I was wondering where it could be coming from and if anyone knows how to get rid of it as its very annoying.

Phillips 42 PFL9664

Yamaha RX-V2065

Sky+ (Scart + Digital Optical Audio Cable) Will upgrade to Sky HD soon.

KEF KHT 3005SE (all QED cables)

I never noticed this when i set it up a few weeks ago but i have been away and its the first thing i noticed when i got back?

Thanks in advance

It's caused by the digital decoder in the receiver unlocking from the digital signal and then relocking onto the new one from the new channel. There will be a muting system to avoid the worst of this, but it seems you are still hearing a click. There's really nothing you can do in terms of changing leads or whatever to avoid this...

Thanks for the advice at least its nothing faulty from the receiver and who knows may clear up once i get Sky HD. (i hope)

Thanks
