Cheap spike pads

Hi all,

any recommendations on pads/cones etc for my speaker spikes - to sit on laminate flooring.

I have 4 stands and a sub

2p pieces (or 1p's if you're feeling really tight !) with an indentation punched in the middle to rest your spikes in.

Some Rubber, Cork or Felt sticky pads on the back of some 2p pieces.

Spikes go on the coins rubber on the Floor.

Is that cheap enough?

Must say I prefer the rich silvery tones of a 10p piece - that would really be pushing the boat out though.

Good to hear - did you go for some backing of just put the coins straight on the wood.
