My wife has put me off ringing them, she thinks there's nothing wrong with it, so they won't either.

To be honest, I think she just doesn't want a Samsung in the lounge, and I told her that I'd probably get one if they offered me an exchange or refund. She's Japanese, and not really keen on Korean technology.

I have to say, the discolouration on the centre third seems almost impossible to see on normal viewing, though the dse is still bugging me.

I still might ring them, just need to make sure I have a case.

Sounds an awful lot like mine then...

DSE and IR are there, but sometimes you have to really 'look' for it, but it's there all the same!

Still in a quandry as to where to go from here...

Head says Samsung F7000/8000

Heart says Panasonic 50VT65

Don't want to look back in 12 months and think I made the wrong decision!
