Hi again may have got my hands on these speakers, won't fully know until tomorrow. can i have suggestion of a decent amp that can be had for buttons as an intrim. plan to get a arcam alpha 7/8/9 for christmas would this be a good pairing? dad has an 8 paired with b&w 603 s2's and sounds gorgeous.

I’d get a small digital amp such as the Mini-T from Amptastic. You can get one brand new for around £60 and for the money they sound stunning. Those speakers are fairly sensitive which helps as these amps are not very powerful but I also have 90db speakers and it drove them very well.

I bought one purely out of curiosity and it is a good to have a spare. If I were on a tight budget I’d have no hesitation using one as my primary amp.
