Ceiling speakers

Just a quick question for those in the know.

If you have a room 49 square meters in size, how do you calculate how many speakers you need and the power of an amplifier to run the speakers, is there a guide that will tell me this?

Which speakers would you buy if it were you?

I got mine from them, good advice and large selection.

I use 4x monitor audio C280's in the kitchen and they sound very good. One thing to check is how much space you have in between you ceiling and the upstairs floor, this could restrict what speakers you could buy. I would check this first.

Don't forget to take into acount some boxing in or dampening. They can bleed sound into upstairs rooms, and not just the room above.
