Hi
A fine point was made in another thread regarding the quality of lossless rips which can vary. I use Exact Audio Copy to extract WAV files. I find that it produces fine sounding rips. What have the rest of you been using. I would be grateful for your feedback (-:

Lossless is lossless.

I use iTunes and Apple Lossless, and have used a file comparator to confirm that these files are identical to an EAC WAV, when extracted.

Anything that does perfect rips.

EAC - slow but free

DBPOWERAMP - quicker but will cost you money for secure rips.

There's a few people going on about codecs. That's not what's being asked though..

Itunes with error correction on. I tried dbpoweramp with Accuraterip to rip one CD that where itunes could not manage 4 of the tracks and it could not manage 5 of the tracks. CD binned as it was a jumble sale buy.
