CD player to match NAD C352 Monitor Audio RS6

Hi All,

I'm looking to upgrade on my very old NAD CD player (5425).

Listened to the Cambridge Audio 640C V2 and that matched very well with my set.

I'm also considering the NAD C542 which still should be a great player. Or is it bettered by the cheaper C515BEE....

What about the Rega Apollo; is that too much for my current system?

Cables: vd Hull the Clearwater and vd Hul interlink.

Appreciate any thoughts.

I'd deffo consider the NAD C542. It's a stunning CDP and really suits the NAD C352 amp and the M/A RS6 speakers.

The Rega Apollo is a great CDP as well but to me, it would be overkill with the NAD amp.

Another poss for the system would be looking at different speaker cable/interconnects.

QED and Chord suit the NAD separates and M/A speakers well.
