CD player to go with ancient amp and loudspeakers?

Hi all,

So I'm looking for a decent sub-£400 CD player to go with the rest of my ancient (purchased in 1993) system:

Amplifier: YBA Integre (yes THE ancient, made-in-France, single-transformer version)

Loudspeakers: Davis Acoustics Arian

Speaker cables and interconnects: YBA Diamond

CD Player: YBA CD Special (long gone), Denon DCD-685 (perished a few weeks back)

Any suggestions? I just know that if I go back to my dealer, he'd say get a YBA, but I'm kinda on a budget here. Just want a CD player that complements my amp fairly well. I know some would say get a new amp, but there's just something special about this one...
