RobinKidderminster:ThanksThanks pp - it is an Ortofon FF15E - seems to work well but after 20 yrs its godda be a bit errr 'rusty' !

I had a Garrard TT SP25 MKV and I had the exact same cartridge... very good in its day. I changed it [if memory served me right] for a Goldring G800.

Depending on budget, you could use any of the modern cartridges - the only ones I've heard over recent years are the modern Ortofon and my ClearAudio Aurum Classic Wood jobbie, although it does retail at over £200 from retailers, but I have seen as low as £130 on the 'Bay.

Alternatively Mantra Audio can do you a new stylus for a princely £15.32. They're pretty good - bought a replacement stylus for the SL-7 from them.
